My Reiki One class material was really full of varied information and moved along really quickly. Merrie's instruction used visualizations, humor, guided meditations, some videos, tapes, small practice sessions that built upon each other, great music and food. No time was wasted, the histiry was enormousy thoroughly covered and even lunch time was well spent for sharing and Q & A. She’s very patient and down to earth and practical.

All my Reiki classes with Merrie Bakker have been solid and fun. There isn’t a lot of silly "flim-flam" such as "just tell your guides to do it” and that type of stuff but thorough and sometimes scientific. Even the history portion of the class was in depth and broken up into parts so it wouldn’t be boring. I liked the energy work exercises best of all as they were great tools to take away. The stories and vignettes kind of stick with me. Good little reminders.
